ADNOC Cuts September Sulfur Price by USD 40/Tonne

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has reduced its September sulfur official selling price (OSP) for the Indian subcontinent to USD 960/tonne FOB Ruwais, down from USD 1,000/tonne FOB in August. Based on ADNOC's September OSP, delivered prices to India are estimated at USD 1,100-1,102/tonne. Freight for 40,000-45,000-tonne cargoes to India's east coast was assessed on August 27 at USD 140-142/tonne.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Maintains September Sulfur Price

Kuwait's state-owned sulfur producer Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) set its September Kuwait sulfur price (KSP) at USD 865/tonne FOB Kuwait, unchanged from August. Freight for 30,000-35,000-tonne cargoes to Chinese ports was last assessed on August 27 at USD 145-160/tonne.

Affected by navigation risk premiums in the Strait of Hormuz, vessels in the 30,000-35,000-tonne range require additional freight and insurance costs, with total surcharges reaching as much as USD 200/tonne. On this basis, the delivered CFR cost to China is estimated at USD 1,065/tonne.
